EMDR is an acronym for Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing. It is an innovative clinical treatment that has successfully helped individuals who have suffered small and large traumas including abuse, combat, addictions, depression and anxieties.
The process replicates REM sleep but in a conscious state. With the assistance of a trained therapist, the client is able to achieve their therapeutic goals at a rapid rate, with recognizable changes that don’t disappear over time.
